humm very hard to track down the rest of the specs for that system, but before we start, have you done the usual upgrade all drivers routine? (looks like it comes with an nvidia graphic card, but I couldn't tell which one in the model you purchased - but nvida have a one driver download works for all models, so grab that just to be sure.)
Win7-64bit shouldn't be the cause of the problem (not by itself anyway). If your video card drivers are current, might try loading the win7 xga native drivers and see if it helps. Also you could try try disabling aero and see if it helps. (not forever - just to see whats conflicting)

I have only played DG on Windows 7-64 RTM. It works fine. The recent update appears to have worked as well, though I haven't tried the new levels yet. But they are available and the new scoring system is in place. So, I know the update worked.
It was working fine for me on win7rc1 (amd quad + hd4870)
Maybe if you gave details someone might be able to help

Go ahead and send the output of DxDiag on your computer to info <at> hidden path .com
We'll see if we can see anything there that might be causing the problem on your computer.
