Defense Grid would be terrific on iPad

There are quite a few tower defense games available for iDevices, but nothing that comes close to the quality and polish of Defense Grid. The iPad is really a perfect platform for this type of game, and I think an iPad port of the existing properties could be quite successful. Just casting my vote!

Would be a bit difficult to transpose the Gamebryo engine to Apple script (can't remember the name of it off hand), would pretty much have to rewrite the game from scratch. Also, no way of knowing if the graphics processor in the iPad could handle something that graphically intense at that higher screen rez. I know the UT engine runs a cut-down version on the iPhone/iPod Touch, but the screen size is much smaller than the iPad, just my $0.02 on the matter. And the same goes with the Droid platform as well, just too much work to get it onto mobile devices, would be much better time spent working on new PC/Console releases IMO.
