9 towers on Assessing the Threat and Ancient Research?

ok, it can't just be luck or a glitch because someone is 81st and has completed Assessing the Threat with 9 towers? How is this done? You can't do enough damage to the last rhino on wave 6? Also, the top 7 people have done it with 9 towers on Ancient Research? How?

OK. If you say so, I will suggest one thing.

I will show my own 9 tower strategy video in Ancient research.
Before that, there is one thing that you should do for me and other gamers.

You have xbox360. So you can see xbox top score list.

Go to the DG user's forum of Steam.
http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=487
and write a post containing Xbox360 top score list.
Refer to my (yangsapozol) post there. There are 168 missions in all.
But write only top scores in Resurgence.

If you write that, I will show you my 9 tower strategy video of Ancient research.

Cheers dude, but i think i'm ok now. I just need a bit more practice at 9 towers on Assessing the Threat Story. I'm 1st on Assessing the Threat Story Challenge with 11 towers, so i should be able to get 1st on the Story mode now. I have done Ancient Research with 9 towers, but i think i upgraded too soon as i got a lower score than when i did it with 10, lol. thanks again everybody, but i'll soon be 1st =p

Yes, it's possible. I am # 1 in the Assessing the threat -stroy and story challenge (50188, 50050).
Sequence is the most important. You must play the mission at least 30 times to get in top 10.
9 tower strategy is still valid and I checked it 2 days ago.

Clearing Ancient research with 9 towers is also possible.
4-L2-lasers, 4-L2-guns and 1-L2-inferno gave me gold medal In story mode.

ah, finally a nice answer. thanks for the tips. i'm not a rubbish player, lol i'm now 3rd on Centre of Power, Grinder, so i'm not a novice, i just couldn't work out how it was possible with only 9 towers. I asked some people on xboxlive and they said that 1st place probably only used 1 Inferno. Now i've gotten a legit answer, i'll see if i can do it too. thank you

Magicians don't give away their secrets, same goes with DG strats (well, some of us at least :P). Just keep experimenting with it, and who knows, you might find a strat that only needs 8 to win.

I think it's all down to luck. 10 is the bare minimum, for both. i don't see how you can do it with a tower less. I've been "experimenting" for days. It's not possible. And to even mention only 8 towers?! 100% cheat if anything.

Ancient research i have done it with 9 and i am in second place . 4 yellow lasers, 4 yellow guns and one yellow inferno. IAssessing the threat cant figuar out but i believe its possible
